To be honest I’ve never been a big panic fan and umm I probably started listening to them in 2007 maybe. Of course I knew of their hit singles and I knew they were creating a new exciting sort of sound and they had some involvement with Fall Out Boy and other bands I had started listening to from Fueled By Ramen.
I own the first two albums and even the live dvd and saw them live but at the time i was way more excited for the supporting acts Cobra Starship and The Academy Is…
Panic performed a great set list at the concert but i do wish i would have paid more attention to them at the concert i guess like the same love for music by the other bands and focus i guess.
And so yeah panic split up or the band members went different ways.. whatever you want to call it and yeah it was sad but i was not cut up over it and it didn’t bother me too much but i do understand how for some fans it bothered them, upset them.
And then all this talk with the new album a few months ago or whatever i was thinking i wasn’t all that excited for the new album even though it would probably be pretty awesome.. and i felt like i had no interest or energy to get into it even though i do like both previous albums and have some favourite songs off the two albums….
and what i’m getting to now is that i think i will give it a go and listen to it in the next few weeks and not leave it until later because otherwise the same thing will happen as with the last Green Day album. I liked and new of the old Green Day music but i really got into American Idiot and yes i was excited for the new album and then it came out and i’ve never listened to it.. only heard one song whole and parts of others and that felt weird.
I don’t know what else to say so yeah lol
